Air conditioning is an insidious challenge to climate change.  As global warming progresses, the more cooling we need, not only for comfort but for health as well.  Air conditioning emits heat, increasing urban temperatures, runs on ozone depleting substances as refrigerants, and requires a lot of energy to operate.  It is estimated that nearly a quarter of energy demands today come from air conditioning.

Mr. Yoshiki Hemmi, CEO of Green Earth Co. Ltd. from Kobe, Japan has developed
  • a supercondenser technology that is able to lower air conditioning power consumption by as much as 20% 
  • new refrigerants with less global warming potential

Together with his partner, Mr. Yutaka Sawake, in collaboration with CETI Philippines, Inc., Mr. Hemmi organized SUPERCONDENSER TECH CORPORATION in the Philippines, duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

​Warming Potential

The SUPERCON TECHNOLOGY uses HB-refrigerants, a combination of two existing refrigerants, resulting in zero ozone depleting potential (ODP) and a global warming potential (GWP) of less than 1500.  HB-refrigerants are low pressure refrigerants, and do not require the use of inverters, resulting in lower manufacturing costs and simplified maintenance.​

Improved Heat Exchange
​

The SUPERCONDENSER TECHNOLOGY is an auxiliary condenser which improves the heat exchange capacity of an existing air conditioning unit.  It is coated with thermal insulation paint, which improves the heat dissipation effect of outdoor units and improves the cooling efficiency of air conditioning equipment, thereby reducing power consumption. ​

SUPERCONDENSER TECHNOLOGY UNDERGOES ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY VERIFICATION (ETV) OF THE DOST-ITDI OF THE PHILIPPINES

The Supercondenser Technology is essentially made of two components:
 
(1)  SUPERCONDENSER is a proprietary technology composed of especially designed aluminum fins coated with nanoceramic paint.  The aluminum fins are designed to have a high surface area, allowing more efficient heat exchange. 
 
(2)  HB Refrigerant is a new refrigerant resulting from a mixture of previously existing R32 and R134a refrigerants.  The resulting new refrigerant is non-toxic and non-flammable; it exhibits low global warming potential index (GWP) and 0% ozone depletion potential (ODP) similar to its original components.
